The third Odyssey game pack includes four games: Tennis, Analogic, Hockey, and Football.
Analogic is the brain teaser in the pack. Player one controls a character that can only land on "even-number" squares and his opponent on "odd-number" squares. Now this may sound a little confusing, but here goes the math.
It is possible to occupy a different square if... and here comes the math... the addition between your square and the one you're travelling to results in number of your type. The screen overlay depicts a chart and the objective for each player is to reach the opponent's planet first.
Confused? Perhaps someone out there can submit a picture.

The third Odyssey game pack has four games: Tennis, Analogic, Hockey, and Football.
Hockey is a derivation Table Tennis from game pack 1. The object of this game is to hit the ball into the net of the opposing player side.
The game starts with a face-off. Set the two paddles across from each other and guide the puck, glowing ball, between them.
Remember that this game console comes from the early 1970s. The game instructions sometimes feel more like that of a board game than a video game. To begin, each player places their hands on the floor on either side of their controller. One player counts to three. Both race to perform the face-off. To make it fair, the players take turns counting to three before a face-off. However, I am sure that there have been many a fight break out over the counting.

PONG was originally released as an arcade coin-op in 1972 by Atari Inc. PONG replicates the same experience as playing table tennis or table hockey. Atari's PONG is spelled in capital letters and is a registered trademark of Atari Interactive, while the spelling Pong is used to describe the entire genre of "bat and ball" video games. Later renditions of this game were known as breakout and used multicoloured bricks to bounce the ball off. When a brick was hit, it would disappear and when all bricks disappeared, the game would level up.
While Atari is attributed with creating the game PONG, Ralph Baer is the one who came up with the concept in 1966. His version of the game was released under the game console Magnavox Odyssey.

The Shooting Gallery uses the first commercial light gun ever created for video game . It was originally created by Ralph Baer, the inventor of the Magnavox Odyssey game console in 1968.
The console had a special port built into it for this peripheral. The Shooting Gallery allowed playing four additional games. This simple shotgun would only detect light, and not necessarily what particular target, which allowed the player to cheat by shooting any light source, e.g. a light bulb. Since no scores were displayed on the TV screen for any Odyssey 1 game, cheating was somewhat irrelevant.
A rumour circulated that the Shooting Gallery rifle would only work with a Magnavox TV set. Although wrong, this hurt sales and only 20,000 or so were sold.
Four games were made that supported the Shooting Gallery were available on two cards. These games are colorised only by a translucent plastic screen overlays.

Ski

The Odyssey game pack includes Ski and Simon Says.
In Ski, the player must follow a line that simulates a snow course without going out of bounds, suffering penalty points if he does.
It is a simple game, but one of those games that will stick with you for years to come. The Skier is represented by the horizontal and vertical motion of the glowing TV square.
The challenge is keeping on the trail. When the skier goes off the trail, or off the screen, it becomes a bit of an art to bring him back. However, the good news is that you will gain points if you "light" anything other than the trail.
Odyssey games are very different from the modern consoles, "light" essentially means to be able to see light (your square, or skier) behind it where it was not before. This idea is employed in several other Odyssey games. In Ski, "lighting" an off-trail object is a collision with that object.
Let me try to explain once mroe time as this is difficult to comprehend without seeing it in person. For instance, while the skier is off-trail you may accidentally "light" something, perhaps, a mountain. This would mean that you hit a mountain!"
Remember, you demerit points when you hit an off-trail obstacle. The skier reaching the end of the trail with the fewest points wins.
